ARTIST STATEMENT
From the age of 2, drawing has filled me with a sense of peace, comfort and creativity. It has always come easy to me but I strive to perfect my craft by studying other artist techniques.
My goal is to create drawings that capture detail in subject matter that others may overlook while using light and dark to produce shadows to create an illusion of realism. My subject matter depicts my love for animals, culture, social statement or whatever I’m feeling.
My influences is everything I see and experience, and artwork by Orlando Hillman and Beth Palser. Feeling driven to draw, I take pride in my commitment and attention to detail. I will continue to strive for the day that I can earn a living by doing something that I absolutely enjoy.
