Congratulations on your engagement!

Let’s create some artwork to invite your friends and loved ones to be part of your special day. It’s easier to get custom designed wedding invitations than you think.

WHY CHOOSE CUSTOM DESIGN?

And then we got a dog named Maggie! How amazing is it that you found each other? Your love story is unique, not like anybody else’s. You want your wedding day to be just as special. You’ve found the perfect venue. You’re getting your favorite flowers. You’re getting your dress specially made, along with your bridesmaids.  Your caterer is making amazing food sure to impress. You’ve thought of everything.

So why not get all your friends and family excited about your day with a custom crafted invitation? Think about it. Your Save-the-Date and Invitation is the first peek your guests will get into the special day you have planned. You don’t want a cookie-cutter design from some website.

You want something special, created just for you.

IMG_4728 (1)I help people like you who are planning weddings or events to create a perfectly executed, unique invitation suite so you can enjoy your special day with the people you love most.

If you haven’t done this before, designing things for print can be overwhelming. If you have, you know how much work it can be. I handle all of that for you.

Letterpress design is great for wedding and event invitations. Each card is handmade on my antique 1921 Chandler & Price letterpress on your choice of beautiful papers. You can see and feel the beauty and quality of the finished product. For the couple that cares about quality and attention to detail, you cannot go wrong with letterpress invitations by Blue Canary.

collageWHAT TO EXPECT

Want to see how easy working with an invitation designer can be? Your just 7 steps away from your perfect invitations!

Step 1: Contact me. My name is Jodi, and I’ll be your wedding invitation designer. You’ll work with me throughout the process. You can email me at [email protected] or call me at 410-849-9862.

Step 2: Design Consultation. Phone, email, skype, or in-person, we will talk about your plans. I’ll get a feel for your aesthetic, find out your hopes, and get the important details I’ll need to begin sketching.

Step 3: I get to work! I’ll create up to 3 unique designs for you to choose from. You’ll pick the one you like the best and we’ll refine it to make it perfect.

Step 4: Once the final design is approved, I will order your materials and plates.

Step 5: Printing. I’ll print your invitations for you. I’ll take photos and send you proofs to look at and also let you see the process.

Step 6: Post production. This is when we assemble your suite of invitations. If you’ve chosen calligraphy and/or mailing services, we’ll take care of that and send you your sets as well.

Step 7: This is the best part! Mail your invitations and wait for the RSVP cards to come in.

It’s that easy. You describe what you want, and I make it happen for you.
